Norwalk Woman Hits, Kills Woman Crossing Street, Police Say A 74-year-old woman hit by a 2018 Acura IIX in Bridgeport has died from her injuries. The incident took place on Tuesday, Feb. 14 around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Broad Street. According to Sgt. Darryl Wilson of the Bridgeport Police, police received several calls of a pedestrian being struck by a car and wasn't moving. When officers and EMS arrived on the scene they found the woman who had sustained lower extremity trauma and a head injury. 1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Fairfield County Shooting, Police Say A report of shots fired in Fairfield County led to the discovery of one person shot to death and two others with gunshot wounds. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 1:40 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8 near the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Broad Street. Bridgeport police and AMR medics responded to the scene where they found 29-year-old Dominique Jones, of Bridgeport, who appeared to have been shot to death, said Capt.
