Fairfield County Italian Restaurant Permanently Closes
An Italian restaurant chain with numerous locations in the region has closed a Fairfield County location. Bertucci's Italian Restaurant, located at 54 Post Road in Darien, has permanently closed. "This location is permanently closed," a recording on the restaurant's answering machine says. "We thank all of our guests for their loyalty." The restaurant did not share the reason for the closure. Stamford Man Charged In Double-Fatal Norwalk Crash
A Stamford man has been charged with two counts of manslaughter in connection with a double-fatal crash that occurred earlier this year. Anthony Domond, 33, was arrested at 7 a.m. Tuesday by members of the Norwalk Police Department with assistance from the Stamford Police and the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, said Norwalk police Lt. Terrence Blake. Domond was wanted in connection with the double fatal crash that occurred on Connecticut Avenue on Jan. 8, Blake said.
