Retailer A.C. Moore Closing All 145 Stores A.C. Moore has become the latest company to abandon traditional-brick-and-mortar retail stores as part of a “broader strategic plan.” Nicole Crafts, A.C. Thousands Expected For Annual Oyster Festival In Norwalk The 42nd annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors for performances, food, and fun. Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot, and Brian Howe will take the night off from performing with Billy Joel to headline the festival. The event, Friday, Sept. 6, Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8 is held at Veteran’s Park, adjacent to Norwalk Harbor on Seaview Avenue in Norwalk.
