Fugitive Wanted On Child Abuse, Burglary Charges Caught In Norwalk A man wanted on child abuse and burglary charges was nabbed at a Fairfield County hotel after being notified he was in the area. New Jersey resident Juan Marales, age 41, of the township of Edison in Middlesex, was arrested in Norwalk on Thursday, Oct. 5. According to Lt. Victim Shot Multiple Times In Bridgeport A person was shot multiple times in Fairfield County during an assault. The incident took place in Bridgeport a little after 9 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 17 in the area of Washington and Highland Avenues. According to Terron Jones, a spokesman for the Bridgeport Police, officers responded to a report of an aggravated assault with a firearm and located the victim. Norwalk Man Stabs Security Guard At Halloween-Themed Expo, Authorities Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested after stabbing a security guard during a horror-themed expo over the weekend, authorities said. The alleged incident happened in New Jersey around 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at the Chiller Theatre Expo in the Hilton Parsippany. A guard was intervening during an altercation between David C. Knestrick, age 47, of Norwalk, and other patrons when Knestrick stabbed him with a knife, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. Police: CT Man Points Gun At Troopers During Chase, Four Firearms Recover A Connecticut passenger pointed a handgun at a New Jersey State Police trooper during a pursuit on Route 287, authorities said Monday. The pursuit, which began in Boonton, ended in a Mahwah park with the gunman and driver in custody and four weapons seized, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said. A trooper tried to stop the Jeep Cherokee for a traffic violation on northbound Route 287 in Boonton Township shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, Marchan said. Man Wanted For Dragging Officers In Fairfield County Taken Into Custody A man wanted for dragging two Bridgeport police officers during a traffic stop, was nabbed during a raid by U.S. Marshals.Naquan Clarke, 22, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals from Connecticut and New York City after he was spotted inside a residence on 157th St., in Queens, said Brian O’Neill, with the U.S. Marshals District of Connecticut Violent Fugitive Task Force.
