Xtreme Cheer Team Qualifies For World Competition

NORWALK, Conn. – Xtreme Cheer’s Inferno earned a berth in the Cheerleading Worlds Competition with a strong performance last weekend at the Reach the Beach competition in Ocean City, Md. Xtreme’s teams are comprised of members from Norwalk and Hopewell Junction, N.Y.

Inferno is a Level 5 team consisting of athletes ages 15-and-up. The team will compete in worlds April 27 to 29 in Orlando, Fla.

The team is coached by Xtreme owners Dana and Mike Talbot. Mike is also a member of Inferno.

Other cheer members are Amanda Sirois, Jay Ruffin, Anthony Munoz, Sophia Buitrago, Frank Stashenko, Maddie Mann, Hannah Gilpatrick, Camille Monette, Cameron Monette, Eliana Betzios, Angel Neris, Alex Birch, Jackson McGoldrick, Harley Cole, Alyssa Vidulich, Ben Porter, Jessie Baum, Ricky Carter, Ashley Brennan, Cindy Gurka, Dilmer Bonefacio, Dayne Blackwood and James Simmons.
