The All-FCIAC softball first team has been announced by the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference, honoring its top players. After an undefeated regular season, Westhill High School placed six players on the first team, the most of any school. The Vikings averaged more than eight runs a game in their march to a second straight Class LL state title game. Westhill ultimately lost the state championship to Conard and was stunned by Fairfield-Ludlowe in the first round of the FCIAC tournament.
