The winter high school sports season concludes Saturday with championship games in boys basketball and boys hockey and the State Open championships for boys swimmers.
Trinity Catholic tips off against Career Magnet at 11:30 a.m. at Mohegan Sun in the Class M boys basketball championship game. Fairfield Prep meets St. Joseph in the Class LL boys basketball title game at 8:15 p.m. at Mohegan Sun.
In boys hockey, Fairfield Prep meets St. Joseph at 2 p.m. at New Haven's Ingalls Rink for the Division I title. Staples-Weston-Shelton meets Watertown-Pomperaug at 10 a.m. in the Division III championship game at Ingalls Rink.
The swimmers splash down at 2:30 p.m. at Yale University. Greenwich, the Class LL champion, and Class M champion New Canaan are among the contenders for the team title.
