Surprising Soccer Playoffs Resume

After several first-round surprises, the boys and girls soccer tournaments resume in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference with semifinals Monday at Fairfield Ludlowe and Wilton.

In the boys semifinals at Fairfield Ludlowe, eighth-seeded New Canaan meets fourth-seeded Fairfield Warde at 5 p.m. Sixth-seeded Wilton meets No. 2 Staples at 7 p.m.

In the girls semifinals at Wilton, No. 8 Darien plays No. 5 Westhill at 5 p.m., and No. 6 Staples meets No. 2 Greenwich at 7 p.m.
