The Saugatuck Rowing Club won three races to highlight a strong opening performance in the spring season at the Greenwich Invitational.
Saugatuck won the Boys Varsity 8+ with coxswain Greg Zales, Remi Amadei, Max Meyer-Bosse, Alex Vogt, Jake Petterson, Griffin Traynor, John Morrison, Max Malec and Marco Grant. Saugatuck won the Boys Lightweight 8+ with coxswain Zales, Max Malec, Marco Grant, William Ritter, Brian Clark, Brian Fairfield, Jeff Monahan, Jeremy Rubel and Chris Fincher.
In the Novice 8+, the club's winning crew consisted of cox Lauren Hochman, Jeff Monahan, Ian O'Malley, Gene Tsai, Devin Dyson, Christoph Bub, Cameron Yates, Clay Andrews and Jansen Van Arsdale.
Second place finishers for Saugatuck included the Boys Varsity4+, which included Jack Carlson, Remi Amadei, Alex Vogt, Griffin Traynor and John Morrison; the Girls Lightweight 4X with Georgia Pinter, Maya Schumer, Connor Cashel and Marissa Hom; the Girls Novice 8+ with coxswain Lilly Powers, Allison Morrison, Olivia Prehodka, Christina Johnson, Michelle Muller, Allie Diamond, Kaitlyn McCann, Felicity Cain and Charlotte Andrews; the Girls Lightweight 4+ with coxswain Isabel Feldman, Georgia Pinter, Maya Schumer, Connor Cashel and Marissa Hom; and the Girls Junior Varsity 8+ with Lilly Powers, Carey Marvin, Allie Schachtner, Alex Manning, Kerinne O'Connor, Anna Petterson, Blythe Lewis, Julia Onorato and Celine Bondoc.
The club's third place crews included the Boys Lightweight 4+ with cox Jack Carlson, Brian Clark, William Ritter, Chris Fincher and Jeremy Rubel; the Boys 4X with Max Meyer-Bosse, Jake Esse, Graham Anderson and Jake Petterson; the Boys JV 8+ with coxswain Lauren Hochman, Lachlan Lancaster, Cameron Lancaster, Mitch Wolfe, Lee Glicklich, Dylan Cutler, Brian Lamy, Jay Tsai and Alec Lee; and the Girls 4x with Susan Greenberg, Alex Zadravec, Breezy Ferrara and Melly Markovic.
Saugatuck will head to New Jersey this weekend to compete in the Mercer Sprints.
