Runners will go to the starting line Saturday for the 12th annual April Fool's 5K Race for DARE at Samuel Staples Elementary School in Easton.
The starting gun goes off at 9:30 a.m. Runners can register online through Thursday and in person on race day beginning at 8:30 a.m. There will be a post-race raffle and refreshments, and an awards ceremony at 10:30 a.m.
The 2010 race had 422 finishers and was won by Tim Milenkevich. Rebecca of Blanchard of New York won the women's race, followed by Easton's Kristin Mazzeo.
