FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. - The vast majority of Monday's scheduled high school baseball and softball games in Fairfield County have been postponed because of rain and wet conditions.
As of 2 p.m., Darien's game against Trinity Catholic was the only baseball game that remained on schedule thanks to Darien's turf field. Staples' game against Harding is the only softball game remaining on the slate.
Most games have been rescheduled for Tuesday. Visit the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference website to find a full listing of when games will be played.
