The third annual Turn the Corner on Lyme races will be held at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport on April 10. The walk/run event features 5K and 10K races. Proceeds help support research, education, awareness and innovative treatments for Lyme disease. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the race, with the 10K and 5K runs at 11 a.m. and the 1.5- and 3-mile walks at 11:15.
The event includes food, music and information about Lyme disease. Runners can register online at www.turnthecorner.org/walks or by contacting Orna Grand at ornag55@gmail.com or by phone at 203-454-4024.
