The Ponus Ridge boys basketball team raised its record to 5-0 with a convincing 45-24 win Tuesday. Ponus looks to complete an undefeated season Thursday with a rematch at West Rocks.
Ponus grabbed a 26-15 halftime lead and then held West Rocks to just three second-half field goals to coast to victory.
Tim Hinton paced Ponus with 13 points while Andrew Humphrey scored 12 and Javed Wright added eight. Kentrell Snider contributed six points, and Shawn Bowman tallied four points. Tyron Mack and Steven Enoch rounded out the scoring with two points apiece.
