Pierre-Louis Is 2nd in Rookie Voting

Boston College's Kevin Pierre-Louis was the runner-up in voting for the Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Results were announced Tuesday night. Florida State's Xavier Rhodes won the award.

Pierre-Louis, a Norwalk resident who played at King in Stamford, took the field in all 12 games for the Eagles. The linebacker finished second on the team in tackles with 86, including 55 unassisted tackles. He also broke up three passes and recovered a fumble. He had 14 tackles, including 11 solos, against Virginia.

BC (7-5) closed its regular season with a five-game winning streak.
