Oak Hills Holds Tournament For Longtime Member

NORWALK, Conn. – The Oak Hills Women's Golf Association honored one of its founding members recently, holding the Pauline Garrelick Memorial Member Tournament.

Garrelick, who helped found the Association in 1972 and served as a longtime board member, passed away this past winter. Forty players, including Dr. Stuart Garrelick, Pauline's husband, and her two sons, Robert and Gary, participated in the event.

A dedication ceremony was held in the new memorial garden next to the 18th green at the completion of the tournament.

Participants were also given an opportunity to donate to Rally for a Cure. The Oak Hills Women's Golf Association has raised over $22,000 for this cause.

Pat Williams and Terry Kolenda were the top finishers in the tournament, winning the low gross in the Partners Better Ball format with a score of 86. Rita Festo and Pat Poremba finished with the best net score of 63.
