Enoch, who played at Norwalk High School last season, transferred to St. Thomas More this school year. The 6-foot-10 senior averaged 14.4 points and 11.4 rebounds last year for Norwalk.
During the summer, Enoch caught the eye of college recruiters with excellent performances at several basketball camps. He said in an interview in July, however, that he has always been a UConn basketball fan.
“Growing up I’ve always wanted to play at UConn, and my family wanted me to,” Enoch said in a July interview with SNY.tv.
Enoch was offered a scholarship in July to UConn. The UConn blog reported that Enoch had offers from Providence College, Arizona State, Kansas State, Memphis, Oregon, Drexel and University of Rhode Island.
Enoch announced his commitment on Twitter. “I will be playing College Basketball at The University of Connecticut as of next season #UConn #Huskies.”
