Norwalks Evan Kelley earned first team All-State honors from the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Boys Basketball Committee. Kelley, a senior, was selected to the Class L All-State team.
Kelley averaged 25.9 points per game, which tied him for second place in the state according to MaxPreps.com. Freshman Kahlil Dukes of Capital Prep averaged 29.9 points per game, and Torrington High senior Desmond Williams also averaged 25.9.
Kelley, the son of former University of Connecticut player Earl Kelley, was one of four players from the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference to earn All-State honors. Trinity Catholics Remy Pinson was selected to the Class M first team, and Greg Langston of St. Joseph and Bridgeport Centrals Jerome Parkins earned Class LL honors.
