Norwalk's Connecticut Boat Club Earns Gold, Silver At Shelton Regatta

NORWALK, Conn.– Connecticut Boat Club won gold and silver medals at the recent Head of the Housatonic regatta, at Indian Wells State Park in Shelton.

The Varsity 4 won silver with Sophie Perez of Greenwich (coxswain), Kaitlyn Kynast of Ridgefield, Grace Collins of Ridgefield, Julia Cornacchia of Darien and Lauren Squitieri of Wilton.

The gold-medal winning Junior Novice 8 included Colleen Visnic (coxswain) of Branford, Paige Pucel of Ridgefield, Emma Peelle of Rowayton, Heidi Jacobson of Greenwich, Jenna Macrae of New Canaan, Eleanor Imrie of Wilton, Gigi Skolds of Darien, Bridget Galloway of Ridgefield, and Flynn Woodring of Darien.

Connecticut Boat Club is a high performance girl’s youth (middle school and high school) rowing club and Women’s Masters program based on the Norwalk River in Norwalk.
