Norwalk Riptide Softball Heads To Babe Ruth World Series

NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Riptide 16-and-under softball team has been invited to play in the Babe Ruth World Series beginning Thursday in Wilson County, N.C., and is seeking community contributions.

Norwalk was invited after a stellar season, including a victory in a tournament earlier this month in Beacon Falls. Norwalk played in the New England Regional this past weekend.

The team is coached by Wally Hurd and is comprised entirely of Norwalk teens.
