FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Norwalk and Fairfield Prep will play for the Class LL soccer championship Friday at 10:30 a.m. at New Canaan High School.
Top-seeded Norwalk advanced with a 2-1 win over Stamford in the semifinals, while Fairfield Prep squeaked past Greenwich, 1-0, with a 7-5 victory in penalty kicks.
Norwalk won its only state title in 1966. Fairfield Prep has never played in a state championship game.
