Norwalk's baseball team will enter the FCIAC tournament as the No. 3 seed following Friday's 12-11 loss in eight innings to Fairfield Warde in its regular-season finale. The Bears, who finish league play with a 14-4 record, will meet No. 6 St. Joseph in Monday's first round at Norwalk.
Norwalk (14-6 overall) saw its seven-game winning streak snapped. The Bears trailed 11-9 in the seventh, but Spencer Jacoby's two-out, two-run single delivered the tying runs. Warde pushed across the winning run in the eight.
