NAA Division I Girls Softball Report

Division I Report:

Falcons vs. Hawks

Omni Solo Inc. Falcons flew with the Atlantic Meat Market Hawks! Cathy Colmenares, Elizabeth Simo, Ashleigh Doyle and Nicole Mariano led the offense. Carly Pinto pitched three solid innings with Annalise Icatar pitching one inning in relief for the Hawks first game of the season. The bats were led by Rachel Nees, Elisabeth Krogan, Abby Lewis, Sabrina Forcellina, Marisa Swanson and Domenique Iraheta.

Saints vs. Volunteers

The New County Motor Saints took on the Volunteers. For the Saints, Danielle Miller pitched three strong innings. Grace Godesky, Noelle Ragusa, and Gabriela Catino led the offense. Jillian Howe and Kristin Butler played well defensively.

Wildcats vs. Sting

The Sting sponsored by Zoto International opened up the season against the Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital Wildcats. Kailey Bibber and Madyson Suda led the offense along with Katherine Fallon. On the mound, Brianny Garcia pitched well before being relieved by Kristen Beaumonte. For the Wildcats Samantha Troetti and Tiffany Scott took care of the pitching while Kassandra Scott, Rachel Dwyer, Mackenzie Smith, Ally Walsh, Kathleen Downey and Dina DiBlasio all had a good day at the plate.

Hawks vs. StingAnnalise Icatar pitched two strong innings followed by an inning from Rachel Nees for the Atlantic Meat Market Hawks. Offensively they were led by Torri Morin and Annabel Wert. Domenique Iraheta, Sophia Valiante and Areti Filippidis also had good offensive games against the Zoto International Sting. For the Sting, Madyson Suda, Jessie Monteiro, Brenda Garcia, and Brianny Garcia had a good day at the plate, while Sklyer Suda, Jackie Derosa and Jenna

Lauttenbach played well defensively.

Saints vs. Wildcats

New Country Motor Saints took on the Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital Wildcats.

Jessica Otto along with Danielle Miller pitched well for the Saints; Gabbs Catino, Noelle Ragusa, Tori Palucci, Kristin Butler, Maria Bonaddio and Marina Christakos led the offense. Jillian Howe, Elizabeth Alfiero and Kristen Butler had good defensive games. Rachel Dwyer led the way on the mound for the Wildcats. Samantha Pierre, Shea Balducci, Tatyanna Molina, Samantha Nagle and Kathleen Downey all had good days at the plate.

Volunteers vs. Falcons

The Falcons, sponsored by Omni Solo Inc., took on the Volunteers. Defensively, Natalie Cronin played well. Grace Potochney and Ashleigh Doyle led the offense.
