The Longshore Women's Golf Association began its 51st season Tuesday with a tournament at the Westport club.
Jo Rasmussen won the first flight with an 80, while Patti Thomas captured low net honors with a 75. Sara Ando took low gross honors in the second flight with an 89, and Joanna Nicholson's 70 earned net honors. She edged Ann Krygier on a match of cards. Judy Beavers (108) and Wendy Montanaro (72) were gross and net winners in the third flight.
The association is a group of women from different towns interested in playing 18 holes, improving their game and enjoying the friendships made through golf.
