NORWALK, Conn. -- The Laurel Athletic Club will hold its annual golf tournament, the Pat Tomaasetti Memorial, on Monday, July 11, at Oak Hills Golf Park in Norwalk. It will be a scramble with foursomes made up of men and women. Men will play from white tees, women from red tees, 72 and over from gold tees (optional).
Entry fee is $140 per golfer, and deadline for registering is July 7. The tee time is 1:30 p.m. and check-in is 12:30 p.m. Tee sponsors are $60. A dinner at Laurel Athletic Club on North Avenue will follow the tournament. Prizes will be given at the club, and there will also be a raffle.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Laurel Athletic Club's local youth sports programs. The club has been sponsoring local sports since 1919. For more information, call the club at (203) 847-5429.
