STAMFORD, Conn. -- Former University of Connecticut basketball star Kemba Walker will hold his All Pro Basketball clinic for boys and girls ages 7-15 on Sunday, Sept. 25, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Stamford Boys and Girls Club.
Members of the Stamford Boys and Girls Club are invited to particpate for free, There is a $60 registration fee for non-members. Walker, a first-round draft choice of the Charlotte Hornets in the National Basketball Association, led the Huskies to the NCAA championship in April.
The clinic includes a chance to meet Walker, receive an autographed picture and also hear a lecture on "Positive Choices" by motivational speaker Steve Emt. For information or to register call 860 292 6311.
