GREENWICH, Conn. Meredith Kalish finished 13th overall and was the first Greenwich finisher Saturday at the Sam Elpern Half Marathon in Norwalk. Kalish finished second among women and first in the 30-39 age group as 223 runners completed the 13.1-mile course in warm, humid conditions.
Kalish ran 1:35:54, and trailed only Julie Heaphy of Norwalk in the women's division. Tim Milenkevich was the race's overall winner.
Loretta Dahnke of Greenwich won the women's 40-49 division in 1:42:06. Ron Rembaum of Old Greenwich won the men's 60-69 age group, finishing 40th overall in 1:43:21.
