Three of the nation's leading sports commentators will take center stage at Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 22. The trio will share insider views of what's new and happening behind the scenes in sports and sports broadcasting.
The panel of ESPN personalities consists of "Outside the Lines" host Bob Ley, tennis commentator and "SportsCenter" anchor Chris McKendry, and Josh Elliott, another "SportsCenter" anchor. ESPN sportscaster Justin Kutcher will moderate questions from the audience.
Proceeds will benefit the Bridgeport-based social services organization, FSW Inc. CT, formerly Family Services Woodfield. Each year, FSW serves more than 11,000 low-income individuals in the Norwalk-Bridgeport-New Haven corridor with an array of employment, training, nutrition and counseling programs.
Doors will open for a silent auction at 6:30 p.m. Champion ticket holders will enjoy a special "Meet and Greet" with the personalities at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at FSW and are $20 for general admission or $50 for Champion tickets.
