NEW CANAAN, Conn. The final race of the New Canaan summer cross country series will step off Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Waveny Park. Runners will race approximately 2.3 miles in the Luminaria Loop, in which runners finish on a path outlined by candles.
The park suffered some fallen trees and limbs during Hurricane Irene. Adjustments will be made on the course to avoid debris. Registration fee is $5 and all proceeds will benefit the Jenny Crain Make It Happen Fund. Complete information is available on the clubct.org website.
