The Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference postseason officially kicks off Friday with the beginning of the girls tennis tournament.
New Canaan finished as the No. 1 seed and hosts Ridgefield in the first round. Other first-round matchups have No. 7 Wilton at No. 2 Greenwich, No. 6 Darien at No. 3 Staples, and No. 5 Fairfield Ludlowe at No. 4 Fairfield Warde. Friday's matches are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
