Chase, Obi Lead Rout by Greens Farms Boys

Dan Chase scored 21 points, one shy of his regional high-scoring average, and Sean Obi recorded his 17th straight game of double-figure points and rebounds as Greens Farms Academy's boys basketball team routed New York Military Academy, 73-31.

Freshman Kam Mickens prospered in his first start at point guard, standing in for the injured CJ Smith. Mickens stuffed every column of the stat sheet, including six rebounds and four steals.

Dan Hoffman , Chris Morency, Wills Rooney, Brien Comey and Will Pavlis spearheaded another suffocating defensive effort. No NYMA player scored in double digits. Nine Dragons scored, including Hunter Eggers with nine. Morency and Christian Papic both had seven. Eric Walsh splashed two long 3-pointers.

GFA's record is now 12-5. NYMA dropped to 6-4.
