The Bridgeport Bluefish (19-25) snapped a six-game losing streak by toppling the York Revolution (26-20), 9-1, Thursday night. The victory also broke York's eight-game winning streak at Sovereign Bank Stadium.
Patrick Ryan (1-1) allowed one hit over seven innings. He struck out eight and walked four. Chris Rivera and Jorge Julio pitched one inning each of scoreless relief. Victor Rodriguez and Charlton Jimerson homered for the Bluefish.
Bridgeport returns home Friday to begin a seven-game homestand against Somerset.
