Connecticut Premier Basketball is calling all girls with a love of the sport to sign up for its fall clinic. The five-week program, divided into two sessions, begins Saturday, Sept. 25, at Staples High School in Westport. One session is for girls in grades 4 to 8, which will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The other session, for girls in grades 9 to 12, will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Tryouts for the 2011 Connecticut Premier AAU teams will follow the clinic beginning Oct. 30. AAU teams are divided into grades 5-7, 8-9, and 10-11. The clinic costs $150 with checks made payable to Connecticut Premier. A printable registration form and submission information can be found on the Connecticut Premier website.
