The All-FCIAC boys lacrosse first team was announced by the Fairfield Interscholastic Athletic Conference on Saturday. Darien High School dominated the honors, placing eight players on the team. The Blue Wave rode a dominant 19-3 record to the schools 11th FCIAC championship and first since 2008. But Wilton, which placed four players on the first team, had the last laugh, trouncing Darien in the Class M state semifinals and crushing New Canaan to win its first state championship since 2004. The win ended Darien's six-year grip on the Class M title.
