Norwalk's Brent Adams scored a goal for the Fairfield University men's lacrosse team as it saw its five-game winning streak snapped Saturday in a 9-4 loss to Loyola. The Stags (6-3) were ranked 14th in the nation. Loyola is ranked No. 9.
Darien's Cooper MacDonnell had two goals and an assist for Loyola (7-2, 5-0 ECAC). Norwalk's John Snellman had nine shots on goal for Fairfield, which fell to 3-1 in the ECAC. Fairfield hosts Hartford Tuesday at 4 p.m.
