Take Steps to Support Learning Disabled

Enjoy ballroom dancing while raising money for a good cause. On Saturday June 5, the Connecticut Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities (CACLD) is hosting an "Evening with the Stars" featuring world champion ballroom dancers at Shorehaven Golf Club in Norwalk.  CACLD will be honoring  Marianne Bonura, a special friend of the organization, Judith Hochman, an extraordinary educator and Health Net, a corporate partner. The event will include dinner, a silent auction and a raffle. The CACLD is a regional, non-profit organization that supports individuals, families, and professionals by providing information, education, and consultation while promoting public awareness and understanding. CACLD's goal is to ensure access to the resources needed to help children and adults with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders achieve their full potential. The organization advocates on behalf of the learning disabled and organizes conferences, seminars and workshops for parents and teachers.  It also has a resource center with related books and materials, as well as Help Line.

Please call 203-838-5010, if you would like to receive an invitation, donate or underwrite an auction/raffle item or place an ad in the program book.
