The Connecticut Mirror reports that Gov. Dannel Malloy and other state officials are finalizing recommendations to address these shortcomings, which include gaining and keeping students’ attention.
The recommendations, drafted by a state-appointed panel, seek to improve accountability among Connecticut teachers and set new standards for the more than 20 colleges in the state that prepare teachers.
