Norwalk High Teens To Strut on the Runway

Norwalk High students are getting ready to strike a pose. This Friday, junior and senior students will strut down the runway modeling the latest fashions. For the first time, the show will take a step forward and be held at the Norwalk Inn on East Avenue. In previous years, the event took place in the school's cafeteria.

Senior guys and girls will model formal attire — prom dresses from A Step Ahead in Stamford and tuxes from Camillo's in Norwalk. Junior couples will strike a pose with casual fashions from “B” Chic and Bob’s Stores.

The fashion show is sponsored by the Parents of Norwalk High, as a fundraiser for the Post Graduation Party — an alcohol- and drug-free party given for the graduating seniors by their parents. The party is held at an off-site location and runs after graduation from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

The fashion show runs from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the door, costing $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
