Norwalk High School Senior Named Scholar Athlete

NORWALK, Conn. -- Samantha Bartush, a senior at Norwalk High School, recently was named a News 12 Connecticut Scholar Athlete.

A member of the National Honor Society and winner of the Dartmouth Book Award, Bartush is a stellar student.

She also is a gifted athlete and member of the varsity field hockey team since her sophomore year. She was named team captain last fall and earned all-state honors.

Bartush will be attending Merrimack College in Massachusetts to play field hockey and major in mechanical engineering.
