Musicians Share Stage for All-City Strings Concert

Young musicians from all over Norwalk joined together last night for the Annual All-City String Festival held at Brien McMahon High School. Fifth grade, middle school and high school string orchestras took turns playing a variety of classical and contemporary pieces. Each song was conducted by a different member of Norwalk's strings department. In this video, Norwalk middle schools play Mabel Creek Overture by William G. Harbinson. Barbara DiFranco, strings teacher at Marvin Elementary School and Nathan Hale Middle School, conducted.
