NORWALK, Conn. -- The Class of 2016 at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk is holding its graduation ceremony Wednesday at 6 p.m.
All graduates are required to arrive no later than 4 p.m. in order to prepare for the ceremony.
Each graduate will receive seven tickets. Tickets are required for seating on the Jack Casagrande Field or the bleachers. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the school’s ceremony gymnasium. Due to limited seating in the gymnasium, two tickets will be allotted per graduate.
Inappropriate attire and/or behavior will result in the student not being allowed to participate in the commencement exercises. Corsage/flowers are not permitted.
Students, families and friends are prohibited from bringing items that may be disruptive to others. This includes, but is not limited to, balloons, beachballs, streamers, silly string and noise makers.
Although encouraged, it is not mandatory for students to participate in the commencement exercises. Students electing not to participate in the ceremony may pick up their diploma on Monday, June 20, in the Main Office.
