Valentine Speaks to Stamford Realtors

Bobby Valentine was the speaker at the Stamford Board of Realtors' quarterly meeting held at the Italian Center in Stamford, May 4.

Mr. Valentine is a former major league baseball player and manager. In January 2011, Mayor Michael Pavia appointed him director of Public Safety & Public Health for the City of Stamford. He is also an analyst for ESPN, the television sports channel.

Valentine said in his remarks that he believes diversity is one of the things that make Stamford special. He noted that he was exposed to this diversity growing up in Stamford, and as a graduate of the Stamford school system.
