Shapiro Named Stamford Realtor of the Year

Maddy Shapiro, sales associate in the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Stamford office, has been named Realtor of the Year by the Stamford Board of Realtors.

A Stamford resident, Shapiro has served on the board of directors of the Stamford Board of Realtors (SBOR) since 2003 and as chair of its Community Outreach and Public Relations committees. She has also been a member of the SBOR’s Nominating and New Member Orientation committees. Shapiro is also a director for the Connecticut Association of Realtors (CAR), is on the board of directors of the Child Abuse Prevention and Education (CAPE), the Mayor’s Task Force for Domestic Violence and the High School Long Range Planning Task Force.

“I am honored to receive this prestigious award from the Stamford Board of Realtors. It is an organization that works hard to promote the educational and career goals of our Realtors throughout the region,” says Shapiro.

A Connecticut licensed Realtor in Fairfield County for more than 20 years, Shapiro has expertise in the marketing and selling of luxury homes, waterfront and new construction properties.
