The number of homes sold in New Canaan in 2011 rose slightly, according to a report issued by Barbara Cleary's Realty Guild.
The report listed 214 houses sold, a 1.9 percent increase over the previous year. The median sale price was $1.6 million, a 9.4 percent increase. Condominium sales zoomed 39.5 percent, and the median price jumped 19.5 percent.
