Joni Usdan and KMS Partners of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Wesport-Riverside organized a house tour and wine tasting event that helped raise $1,000 for the Westport Warm Up Fund.
The Westport Warm Up Fund, a collaborative effort of the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County, the Department of Human Services, the Westport Womans Club and the Westport-Weston Clergy Association, provides heating assistance to elderly and low-income individuals and families.
We are very pleased that we were able to host this special event and raise money for such a worthy cause, says Usdan. With so many state and federal programs being cut, people are struggling to keep up with the rising costs of food, housing and other living expenses. It is important to help families in need keep warm this winter season.
The event was the brainchild of Usdan and KMS Partners, which includes partners Sheila Keenan, Susan Seath, Karen Scott and David Weber and team members Martha Eidman, Mary Petro and Mary Ellen Gallagher.
Sales associates and managers from more than 30 real estate offices in Connecticut and Westchester counties attended the home tour and wine tasting. Participants toured three properties in Westport 3 Charmers Landing, 99 Bayberrry Lane, and 157 Easton Road as well as sample four California wines, with the assistance of Gathering Harvests LLC of Westport.
