Gazebo Floats in the Woods

If entertaining outdoors is your thing, then take a look at this house in the Cos Cob section of Greenwich.  The house itself is nice with a decent kitchen and a nice flow to the space. The master suite is on the first floor and it has an enormous bathroom with large tub and giant shower. There are nice walk-in closets, too. The other four bedrooms are upstairs.

The house was virtually rebuilt in 1999, so mechanicals and all those good things should be updated and in tip-top condition. There’s a partially finished basement and a two-car garage. Taxes are affordable -- at under $10K.

The best thing about this house, in my opinion, is the property. You drive up to the house and the front yard is level, with pretty landscaping and room for the kids to play soccer or lacrosse. But go 'round the back and you’ll find a very clever multi-level deck built around some huge boulders. The main deck drops a level and leads to a lovely gazebo, which seems to float in the woods.

How much are they asking for 29 Ferncliff Road in Greenwich? $1,475,000.
