Norwalk Firm Investigated For Backing Up Hillary Clinton's Email Server

NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk-based data storage company is being investigated by a government committee for its work to back up Democratic presidential hopeful Hilary Clinton's emails when she was Secretary of State, according to the Connecticut Post.

Datto Inc. has been asked by the U.S. Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to turn over information about Clinton, who lives in Chappaqua, the Post said.

The company was contacted and a backup storage device was purchased in May 2013, just after Clinton left the State Department, reported the Connecticut Post.

The company has a deadline of Oct. 19 to turn over its data.
