Woman Injured In Norwalk Armed Robbery

NORWALK, Conn. – A woman was slightly injured Tuesday after she was robbed at gunpoint on a residential street in Norwalk, police told thehour.com.

The unidentified victim told police that she had been confronted by the mask-wearing suspect on Bayview Avenue around 8:30 p.m., thehour.com reported.

According to police, he shoved a handgun in her back and tried to grab her purse, but she struggled with him, dropping her cell phone in the process, thehour.com’s article said.

The man pointed the gun at the woman’s face, injuring her lip, then snatched the phone and fled, according to thehour.com.
