Woman In Walmart Vest Robs Norwalk Bank

NORWALK, Conn. — Police are searching for a woman who robbed the First County Bank on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk Friday, according to the Hour.

Police told the Hour that the woman was wearing a Walmart vest and sunglasses during the robbery, which took place at around 11:30 a.m. She walked in and passed a note to the teller that indicated that she had a weapon, though no weapon was actually displayed during the incident, the Hour reported.

Police were in the area of the bank, which is located at 700 Connecticut Ave., and were searching for the suspect, according to the Hour. A Walmart is located right near the bank that was robbed.
