Two Pedestrians Struck In Norwalk Hit-And-Run

NORWALK, Conn. -- Police are searching for a BMW that hit two pedestrians and fled the scene on Van Buren Avenue in Norwalk on Wednesday night.

Police said the two pedestrians, a male and a female, were struck by a gray BMW on Van Buren Avenue near the intersection of Bedford Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The vehicle is believed to have sustained front and right side damage, including a missing right side mirror that was left at the scene, according to police. It was last seen fleeing south on Van Buren Avenue, police said.

Both pedestrians were taken to Norwalk Hospital.
