A resident of Crockett Street in Rowayton reported Tuesday morning that their BMW had been taken from their driveway overnight, the Hour reported. The car was reported to have been locked, and the keys were not inside, according to the Hour.
That same morning, a resident of Covelee Drive reported that their car had also been stolen, though further details of the theft were unavailable on Tuesday, according to the Hour.
Police told the Hour that car break-ins were also reported on Tuesday morning on Ensign Road in Rowayton, as well as on Cricklewood Lane, Deerwood Manor and Murray Street in other sections of the city.
Residents are reminded to remove valuables from their cars and lock their doors, and anyone with information should contact police.
